Nkemamaka Okpala, MD

Dr. Nkemamaka (Nkem) Okpala is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician, practicing in New Jersey for over 9 years. She completed her internship and residency at St Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey. She is a compassionate physician who specializes in prevention and provides a personal connection to healthy minds and bodies. She treats singles and partners, families and grandparents, working to help people to live longer and to feel more alive and healthier in the process. 

Dr. Okpala believes the majority of medical problems are caused by poor behavioral habits that have accumulated overtime. She takes a preventative approach to treatment and helps patients adopt a preventative behavioral mindset, before relying on medication that could inadvertently cause other medical problems. Dr. Okpala has built lasting relationships with her patients, most of whom have been seeing her since she began her career. She lives with her husband and 4 children and enjoys cooking and traveling. 

Augustine Okpala, MD 

Dr. Augustine (Austin) Okpala is double board certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care and has years of experience. Dr. Okpala enjoys practicing medicine and looks for long lasting relationships with his patients. He focuses on preventative medicine, patient education, and comprehensive care and management. He specializes in helping patients manage diabetes, hypertension, depression, and various autoimmune conditions, using alternative methods to help these patients optimize their health.

Dr. Okpala believes that the best health care results come from a healthy and communicative relationship between physician and patient. He strives to establish a real and caring partnership with each and every one of his patients. Dr. Okpala likes to spend time with his wife and four children.
